My son wanted a snug fit since the material on the uppers is supposed to stretch after a while and conform to the shape of the foot, but when the 7's arrived he couldn't get his foot in the shoe. We ordered 7.5's and they fit perfectly. It took one practice session to break them in and now he loves how they fit and feel. I wouldn't normally suggest ordering a size up with this type of material, but that's what ended up working out best for us.
